Gastronomy
The gastronomic traditions of Aveiro are due in most part to the sharp tastes of the fishermans that through the time cooked the recepies that now make the residents and the visitants to be delighted with such recipes.
An exemplar case of that, are the nuns of the Convento de Jesus that left a very rich and varied legacy.
We have the tipical ovos moles that are aveiro’s simbol by exelence. Served in small wooden cans ornated with regional paintings.
