Aveiro’s Museum

Foundaded on 1911, the”Museu de Aveiro”, conserves a few spaces of the previous convent that integrate the visit circuit of the museum.
The “acervo” of the museum, with origins on the of spoils of the “convento de Jesus” and other religious houses of the city, it range´s colection´s of painting, sculture, ”azulejo”, ”ourivesaria”, furniture, ceramic´s with particular incidence on the “Barroco” period. It proceses still a documental fund of XV to XIX century´s.
The” projecto Museave” (aplicated in the museum) has a purpose the elaboration of software material connected to the coumpound´s of the several museum´s court´s depending of the institutions participant´s of the “consórcio”, specificaly “Ecomuseu da Marinha da Troncalha” and “Museu etnográfico de Requeixo”, “Museu da palhaça”.

Becoming this way a model, because it bet´s in dinamism and technological reconversion.
